P&ID surveys and drawing updates

Repairs, upgrades and system modifications made during a vessel's operational life can leave Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) out of date.

Keeping vessel documentation aligned with the systems on board.

Inaccurate drawings can lead to systems being operated using outdated information, increasing the risk of equipment damage, operational errors and pollution incidents. Our technical specialists survey the vessel, identify modifications and update the relevant drawings and documentation to reflect the actual as-installed arrangement.

As-installed piping surveys

We survey onboard piping systems to establish their current configuration and identify changes that are not reflected in the vessel's existing technical drawings.

P&ID and piping drawing updates

Existing drawings can be updated or recreated to incorporate system modifications, replacement equipment and other changes made during the life of the vessel.

Procedure verification

Relevant onboard procedures can be reviewed against the installed systems, helping ensure operating instructions and technical documentation remain consistent with the vessel.

Part of the wider vessel documentation picture

P&ID verification can also form part of our Vessel Operating Manual checks, helping ensure the operating manual, procedures and technical drawings accurately reflect the vessel's current configuration.
